SquareFace (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a web-based avatar generation and animation service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when using SquareFace.

- Uploaded photos and generated media: Photos you upload are processed to generate the avatar or animation you requested. Generated outputs may be temporarily stored so you can download them.
- Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your email address, name, and avatar URL to create and manage your account.
- Payment and credit records: Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your full card number. We store payment status, plan type, credit balance, subscription status, and transaction identifiers needed to operate credits and support billing questions.
- Usage and analytics data: We may use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager to understand page views, feature usage, errors, and conversion events. This helps us improve the product.
- Technical data: Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process IP address, user agent, request logs, and similar technical data for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide the service: Generate avatars, animations, downloads, and account credit balances.
- Process payments: Create PayPal orders or subscriptions, confirm successful payments, add credits, and handle cancellations.

4. AI Processing and Training
We use uploaded photos only to generate the avatar or animation requested by you. We do not use your uploaded photos to train AI models. Uploaded photos or generated media may be processed by third-party AI infrastructure providers solely for the purpose of fulfilling your request.
5. Data Retention
- Uploaded photos: Deleted after processing or within 24 hours unless needed temporarily to complete your request.
- Generated avatars and animations: May be retained for up to 7 days to allow downloads and troubleshooting. Download important files promptly.
- Account and payment records: Retained as long as needed to operate your account, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Analytics data: Retained according to the analytics provider settings and used mainly in aggregate form.
6. Third-Party Services
SquareFace may rely on third-party services including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Google for sign-in and analytics, PayPal for payments, and AI infrastructure providers for generation or animation. These providers process information according to their own policies and our configuration where applicable.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies or local storage for sign-in, session state, drafts, and product functionality. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar technologies to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may break login or payment flows.
8. Your Choices
- Access or deletion: You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account data where applicable.
- Analytics controls: You can use browser settings, extensions, or platform-level controls to limit analytics tracking.
- Payment management: Subscriptions can be cancelled through the SquareFace billing page when logged in or through PayPal account settings.

SquareFace is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
10. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, platform security features, and reasonable operational safeguards. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please avoid uploading images you are not comfortable processing online.
